Day 16-- Havana, Cuba.. and those 'old cars'

what a great day in Havana.. perfect sunny 79* weather.. a few to start off with.. great place.. fun people.. our very good friend Anne sailed with us on this Cuba-leg of our cruise... we know Anne for nearly 50 years -- her and her husband Joe  were part of our three-couple group of friends--  Joe was a NYC Firefighter and passed away 10 years ago.. she wanted to get to Cuba so we said why not sail with us--she did.. had a blast.. part of our tour thruout the City was an over 2.5+ hour ride in a '56 Chevy Bel Air Convertible--a  kewl ride..  we also did the 'tourista thing' as part of the tour was in a large bus--a Chinese bus I might add..  a nice walk thru parts of the city also .. had to get the Cubana Ceegars and Havana Rum shopping in.. our Community stop was at a storefront Seniors Center where we met a 'Senior's Rap Group'.. the Lead Singer was 92 years old-- what a blast.. super people
