the sunrise was blocked by low clouds and mountains as we arrived in Kusadasi.. the last time we were here 3 years ago we were the only ship in town.. this time there were 4 ships.. off the ship by 10am made for a crowded downtown as we walked along the waterfront to Pigeon Island- that has now no name these days.. a walk to the Castle on the island will now cost 10 Euros when last it used to be free-- times have changed.. a pretty day with temps in the high 70's..sunny.. local fisher-people out and about.. the local 'meows' also.. stops in the many shops and bazzar.. back on to the ship by 1230pm..
