what a airport-flight marathon starting yesterday.. finally arrived at 1030am Athens time 7 hours ahead of EDT back home.. a transfer taxi ride to our hotel- the Intercontinental Athenaeum Athens - in downtown Athens.. more waiting as our room along with many others was not ready yet.. all our luggage made it- yippee-- as we begin our 56 day cruise on Holland America's Nieuw Statendam starting tomorrow.. having been to Athens a number of times over the years on cruises we decided to just rest up and stay local
