MEMORIAL DAY.. a time to reflect and think about and thank all those men and women in our military who have made the ultimate sacrifice so all of us can enjoy the freedoms we have and take for granted.. I as a fellow Veteran stand at attention and salute those brave and courageous men and women 🇺🇸
after yesterday's rain event early and with the weather forecast showing heavy clouds for the sunrise hour I decided to head on over to the beach anyway.. pleasantly surprised as the sun made its way out and thru the low clouds on this 65* early morning.. for this Memorial Day not too many peeps were out and about except for the usual suspects- dog-walkers with Lu and Steve stopping by.. Lu has to get her goodies handout from me- a few 'charlie bears' treats.. a stop on the drive home at the Lake to wet a line- nada.. saw a couple in a small aluminum boat with an electric bow motor fishing for crappy and bluegill.. also saw 'Ali-da-Gator' swim nearby them..
