'leaving on a jet plane'... well this 43 day cruise has come to an end in Rotterdam.. saw immigration at 645am in the Hudson Room onboard with the 18 of us who have been onboard since Ft Lauderdale.. up to deck 2 and breakfast in Club Orange- our regular go to.. escorted off the ship with the assistance of our good friend GSMgr Cynthia at 8am.. over to our transfer bus to Schipole Airport, Amsterdam about an hour's drive away.. after many many many separate security checks we were waiting to board our 130pm Delta flight back home- first to Atlanta then on to Myrtle Beach.. a loooooooong day awaits us as we were about to board a 5th security check.. sure does make us grateful having our TSA pre-check status at home.. .arrived in Atlanta airport at 440pm.. had a near 6 hour layover.. that got even worse--- our connecting flight to Myrtle Beach was delayed 2.5 hours leaving at 1am.. arrived in Myrtle at 2am.. luckily got an Uber for the drive home.. touchdown at the house at 330am. . a long long PITA day..
