with the overnite stay in Punta Delgada I awoke to rain at 430am on this early Sunday morning.. what a crossing weather-wise -ugh.. of the 17 Atlantic crossings over the years of cruising for us this one has been the not so good one with the weather.. I guess we just got spoiled over the years with the nice sunny warm weather and flat seas..
with the rain stopped it was up to the Lido Deck-aft at 545am for some early morning before sunrise nitetime pics overlooking the town.. NO Sunrise once again.. or is it just 'CONCEPTS OF A SUNRISE' .. hahahaha.. did I just say that- you betcha I did..
having been here a few times in the past at 10am we got off the ship with our friends and walked the downtown.. quiet on this Sunday morning .. a lot of shops closed until 11am.. dodged a couple of super-quick 2 minute rain squalls.. back onboard by noon
