headed out before sunrise on over to Veteran's Park on the mainland side of the bridge.. snapped a few overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway-the ICW .. 54*.. up to 72* by late morning-- a nice day

clouds .. and color
with the abundance of low clouds across the horizon a pre-sunrise had some nice color overlooking the Calabash River on my way to the beach.. a non-sunrise followed as I didn't even exit my truck on to the sand.. 'blah' is the word of the early morning

Cruise ends- San Diego.. heading home
cruise ends in San Diego on Saturday early morning.. off the ship by 930am.. stuck in the SD airport-- delays..delays..delays.. arrrrgggghhhhhhh.. finally left SD at 630pm after 4x delays ..missed our Charlotte connecting flight to Myrtle Beach.. then Charlotte Airport overnite because American screwed up the hotel they supposedly reserved for us and a few other couples ..now I know why I try to never fly American Airlines.... arrived home 12 noon Sunday.. I'll stick with Delta

Day 53- at Sea
a 'blowout'-- literally ..winds at 430am at 25-30 kts with cloudy skies.. no sunrise ..the sun finally came out at 9am.. a bumpy ride on our last 306 miles to San Diego as we sail our last day at sea..
