after leaving Kona again-- we were just in all these Hawaii ports 3 weeks ago.. we anchored off of Lahaina, Maui Saturday before 7am.. a 2+ hour delay .. the entire town of Lahaina had a major power outage.. as did most all of the island of Maui.. no internet ..no 5G.. no power .. the Captain had a problem with the Port Security Officer in charge who refused to let the ship disembark any pax.. Captain had to go directly with US Coast Guard to get authorization to have tender operations start ..that was finally decided just after 9am.. is this a coincidence-- just as we were leaving the anchorage at about 7pm all the power was restored to Lahaina including the 5g internet .... hmmmmm.. now that's a first for us.. at least the weather was halfway decent.. Hawaii is not on my hit list after this cruise
