a nasty thunder and lightning storm with heavy torrential rain greeted us as we made our appraoch on our sail in to Toulon .. the forecast showed clearing by late morning but it sure didn't look good ... we weren't going off the ship today but by early afternoon changed our minds .. did the local train-tram for a quik 1 hour tour thru the streets of downtown Toulon.. stayed out until 330pm then headed back on to the ship.. sailaway was at 6pm as we head over to Palma de Mallorca, Spain with a day at sea tomorrow and arrival there on Thursday morning..
