AT TIMES UNABLE TO POST PICS..SHIP'S INTERNET VERY SLOW AND CANNOT PROCESS
our clocks moved forward 1 hour today on this 'day at sea'.. we are now 7 hours ahead of EDT time back home.. up on the Sports Deck this morning at 715am for the 'non-sunrise sunrise'.. lots of clouds.. stayed like that to around 12 noon when the skies cleared and the sun came out finally.. 70* on the kewler side thru most of the day as we sailed toward our next port-- Corfu, Greece.. have been there many times before..hoping for decent weather as it is another of our favorite places.. tonite it is dinner in the dining room followed by the Mariners Recognition party in the Ocean Bar.. very unusual to have that event in the evening at least for us.. normally a late morning event.
after dinner we attended the Mariner's Recognition event for Presidents Club and 5 star mariners in the Ocean Bar.. to our surprise we as Presidents Club members were recognized for this our 100th Cruise with Holland America ... the staff including Captain Kevin.. Hotel General Manager Darren along with Asst HGM Dustin.. Guest Relations Manager Joanne and Mariner Coordinator Gladys presented us with a cake commemorating the milestone .. it was nice being with 'old friends' Dustin and Joanne having sailed with them many times on the Maasdam going back in time.. a surprise it was as we had no idea this was going to happen..a big thank you to all the staff and crew onboard the Oosterdam 🥰
