a few rain squalls greeted me up on the Lido deck aft at 630am.. no sunrise as we made our approach to the bay at Taormina with arrival 8am ..a Captain's announcement due to high winds and choppy seas the ship had to make a number of maneuvers to get into the correct position for our tendering into shore.. by 1030am all was done.. we were off the ship by 1115am.. and up the mountain by taxi to the small town of Taormina famous for Cannolis- where it all started .. been here a few times before .a lot more peeps today then normal.. ate lunch at a local cafe.. back on the ship by 4pm.. up to the Lido for a small nosh ..cloudy skies just about all day ..we leave here late tonite at 11pm with a sea day tomorrow toward our next port of call on Saturday- Corfu, Greece
