after a lot of rain for a day and a half.. it was over to the beach this early morning to catch a sunrise.. 36* and windy so I stayed nearby the Pier area-- a shorter walk across the dunes walkway.. turned into a nice sunny day but only got up to 50*.. a practically 'empty beach' I counted 5 peeps out there besides me.. later on in the afternoon we donated some furniture to one of the charities in Calabash.. on the drive home saw the dogs--a local guy plays golf on our golf course when it isn't crowded-- 4 cars in the parking lot-- he owns a 'Dog Training for Rescue Dogs' company.. no leashes on the dogs-- just radio transmitters to keep them nearby.. quite a sight to see out there on the course.. always puts a smile on my face
