the first day of Fall season-- and a 'day-trip'

on this first day of Fall season decided to venture out on this early Tuesday morning and do some mini-traveling and a day trip for a drive south down to Charleston (SC).. we left the house at 645am and a little over 2 hours we were there... an early morning stop at Costco in Mt Pleasant for the 9am 'Senior Hour' then it was on to downtown and to the historic district of the Battery Park area and Rainbow Row.. not many people walking around on this beautiful 74* day..  quiet..  just about all were wearing masks except some of the joggers.. I still can't believe we haven't been down there in 14 months-- this was our usual day trip getaway stop every month or so in the past... snapping pics as we usually do along the 1.5 hour walk was super nice.. a pleasant day all around just to get away for the day and with hardly anyone around in this beautiful city was even better.. only negative for me was a stop at the local Gucci store and it wasn't for me-- I shall say no more  :)
