Hurricane Dorian Update.. and checking out the beach early this morning

Dorian is a Category 5 Hurricane at 185 mph winds with gusts 200+ mph.. it  has stalled above the northern Bahamas .. much destruction...

forecasters are saying the storm will turn to the north and run NNE along the east coast hopefully far enuff out at sea as it passes us by..

the latest up to date Hurricane forecast ( usually every 3 hours) can be found at this link at the National Hurricane Center website  https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at5+shtml/095412.shtml?cone#contents

on this Labor Day holiday-- the 'un-o-fish-al' end of the summer tourist season.. plenty of 'tourons' were out and about as I stopped at the beach near the Pier on this early non-sunrise kinda morning.. clouds clouds and more clouds ... a calm day before the impending storm which should get to us on Thursday..

the Surf was fairly quiet
plenty of 'tourons' walking the beach
Great Egret doing a 'flyby'
Low Tide in the backwaters
Panorama along the Causeway as I was leaving the Island
