clouds.. foggy.. and a one of a kind feathered friend

a 'different' kind of morning.. and day.. shooting thru the fog.. plenty of early morning clouds made for a late sunrise.. the 'ultimate touron'.. and a 'one of a kind' feather-find-- a Roseate Spoonbill-- in an unusual place-- in a catch-basin right across from Ross and TJ Maxx in Myrtle Beach and far far north from its normal range and habitat-- Florida and down thru South and Central America-- a 'Hurricane Dorian hitchhiker' .. have seen other varieties of Spoonbills before while in Costa Rica over the many times we've been there but never this far north.. https://birdsna.org/Species-…/…/species/rosspo1/introduction ....and to top off the day.. while in Bass Pro Shops another 'local-regular' being driven around the store .. she's always 'dressed to the nines'.. first time she wouldn't shake my hand in the many times I've seen her in the store...
