an early UPDATE: and it's not even that close yet.. 7am still 100 miles to our south near Charleston, South Carolina.. plenty of rain so far.. lights flickering every now and then... our Emergency Weather Radio has been blasting and lit up all nite with heavy Thunderstorm and Tornado Warnings..
BTW..we're at the 'blue dot marker' on this radar grab.. a screenshot of the Sunset Beach PierCam -- heck it looks better at the beach than over this way a few miles from the beach http://www.sunsetbeachpier.com/piercam.html
neighborhood in our town about a mile from us got hit with a mini-Tornado this morning.. some damage as you can see in the pic.. also the next town over-- Sunset Beach-- had a small Tornado pass over Town Hall and did some damage to Shoreline Drive..
more ..5pm UPDATE: hay where in the heck did all this wind come from... anyway Dorian is getting closer.. 5pm update from the National Hurricane Center showed Dorian 45 miles SSE of Myrtle Beach which is just below us https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at5+shtml/151958.shtml?cone#contents
