which made it a lot nicer than it was yesterday with 43º temps and North winds at 20+...I'm getting to hate the wind more than the rain in this cold weather we're still having after stopping at the beach for the Sunrise I stopped off at the lake and decided the last minute to 'wet a line'.. glad I did... with the Yami 'woim' caught a nice Largemouth Bass.. had a few more hits and hookups but they were lost in the heavy snotgrass.. I mash my hook barbs down for e-z removal for catch and release..
while getting ready to stop fishing I looked up across the lakefront and there was an Osprey chasing an intruder--a Bald Eagle-- away from the Osprey's nesting area.. this goes on every once in a while.. this morning a battle ensued with the Osprey.. and his backup Osprey.. winning the clash...chasing the Bald Eagle across the road and down the ICW 'what an in-flight battle'.. looked like a Top Gun battle in the air .....only had the 70-300 lens so couldn't get that close... snapped some sequence pics at the end of these pics for today ..
