cloudy skies as we arrived at
Messina, Sicily this morning in one of the most unique
harbors we've ever been too.. just across Straits of Messina is the
short distance between mainland Italy in Calabria and Sicily.. we took a tour up
to
Taormina about a little less than an hour's drive away from the
harbor.. a quaint Italian village we walked for about two and a half hours thru
the town sampling
Cannoli's .. and more
Cannoli's .. and other pastries as good tourists
do..cloudy skies once again greeted us.. a good view of the
Mt Etna Volcano then a drive back to the port.. four of us decided to walk
Messina stopping for a quick pizza lunch.. pretty darn good... the
rain finally came down in buckets as we were about a half block from
the ship...
