Day 20...Mallorca Spain

arrived on the island of  Mallorca, Spain at 8am..  shops open at 10am so we set out from the ship to tour the city of Palma and the surrounding area on the Hop On/Off Tour Bus...a very nice tour that we stayed on two times...  after the morning tour we decided to walk downtown and thru the streets of the city on our own...  a stop at the local McCafe--Mickey D's-- was in order for the free wifi as well as a Cappuccino..  the island and the city are truly beautiful with friendly local people .. the very large downtown marina holds many expensive yachts.. the spectacular Cathedral de Palma de Mallorca is at the focal point of this very beautiful port along with Castle Bellvar sitting atop the hill overlooking the port....  back to the ship for dinner then a short walk out along the marina afterwards before setting sail at 1030pm to our next port Rome Nov 10 Saturday
