Day 18.....Barcelona --day 1

left Almeria late yesterday afternoon for our next port, Barcelona, Spain arriving at 4pm today.....BTW no sunning on deck all day as the weather was overcast with strong winds and much cooler temps until our 4pm arrival when the sun came out with blue skies... . we had dinner on the ship and then ventured out into downtown at Las Ramblas---a walking boulevard--- as we did last year.... . what a great place to see the inner-city...a lot more crowded this year then it was last year..first things first--had a Gelato.. then walked down to the Mercado-market..stopped at Mickey D's for some free wifi..expanded our walk to discover a whole new area of outdoor cafes and restaurants ..walked the downtown marina-shopping  area before heading back to the ship on the shuttle bus which I might add was a bargain at 3.50 Euros roundtrip...  we'll be here overnite ..plan on doing the Hop On/Off tour bus tomorrow as long as the weather is nice..
