Saturday on the beach before sunrise

on to the beach before Sunrise at 40th street on the West End-- the skies were clear over land but in the eastern sky it was not the case as it was filled with heavy cloud cover over the ocean.. not a good thing..  I waited it out on this early Saturday morning.. passed the time talking to some peeps I know.. John the Jogger.. Steve and Lu and Kurt and Pam with Sofie were in town for an extended stay until November also..  this is the start of the season ending Labor Day weekend with plenty of peeps walking the beach..  68* early.. warmed up nicely to the mid-80's later on thruout the day

a cloudy sunrise at the beach.. a stop at Veteran's Park

as I arrived on the beach at 40th street it sure didn't look the way the forecast showed with 0% cloud cover.. so the sunrise was just not happening this early Friday morning.. a quiet beach day with just the regulars walking past me and in the distance.. with the sun not cooperating I decided to leave the beach early and stop by Veteran's Park just across the bridge on the mainland.. a better experience after sunrise was in order.. a nice day later on with temps only up to 82*
