on this early Wednesday morning on the beach on Sunset Beach on the West End at 40th Street.. plenty of scattered low clouds does not a sunrise make.. peeps walking.. joggers .. a couple of bicycle riders and the usual dog-walkers.. Steve with Lu stopped by to get her Charlie Bears doggy treats from me.. 80* with lots of humidity-- 85%.. stayed that way thru the morning.. heavy thunderstorms rolled in later in the day making good on the forecast.. looks like thunderstorms and rain will be here for the next few weeks.. as a sidenote I'm celebrating today my Retirement Anniversary 35 years ago I retired from the SCPD --Suffolk County, NY on Long Island after 20 years 'on the job' -- my other life.. 😀
