a drive over to the beach before sunrise... damn that detour and construction of a new Calabash River Bridge is not so nice.. just a PITA...temps were at 61* until I walked on to the beach.. I got a blast of very warm air as the slight wind was blowing off the ocean with water temps at 85*.. felt like someone turned a heater on-- strange.. usually when it is like that fog rolls in.. not today.. up to 79* and sunny until midday when the storm and rain started up at around 330pm.. still light rain continuing this evening ..
