Memorial Day.. I as a proud Veteran- US Army Vietnam- let us all give thanx and salute those who have given so much and made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us to be free... something to remember --today is more than just 'another holiday'
as we sail toward this morning's port of call-- Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada-- with arrival at 8am a pretty 'before sunrise' sky greeted me on the Sky Deck on the bow along with 52* temps and a brisk breeze that made it even kewler.. I was the only one out on deck- I wonder why.. temps today in Halifax only up to 54* with sunny skies..

after breakfsst in the Pinnacle Grill--'flapjax' -- okay okay pancakes for those who do not know.. then up to Deck 5 to book a few new cruises with our favorite cruise consultant- Chantal who we know for many years.. off the ship by 10am to just do the Halifax Riverwalk.. the winds were cranking up to 20kts and along with the 50* temps made for a kewl walk.. most of the small shops were still closed by late morning..

after leaving windy Halifax this evening.. dinner at the Pinnacle Grill.. Sunset at 850pm sailing north toward Sydney, Nova Scotia- thee 'other Sydney' with temps forecast for 35* in the early morning.. here's a few at tonite's Sunset..
