up on the Sky Deck on the bow at 615am before sunrise as the Koningsdam was making its approach to Mazatlan thru the narrow Inlet.. some nice colors once again as Captain Henk spun the ship around before docking in slip #1.. following us in was the NCL Bliss and an hour or so later the Carnival Panorama.. a busy day in port.. with temps already nearing 80* we decided to get off the ship and do our walk into town and over to the Cathedral early before 9am to 'beat the heat' of the day.. we were back onboard just after 11am.. it sure did get hot fast out there..
