fogged in at the beach this early morning

even though it was a foggy.. cloudy.. 40* early morning I decided to take a drive over to the beach.. last time there was on Sept 27 a couple of days before we went away on our cruise-- and that was after Florence-- all was good on the beach back then
   
stopped down at da' Pier and Gazebo area.. wow... curiosity got me so even though it was friggin' freezin' with 15+ mph North kewl winds went down to 40th street also to check things out-- spoke to a lady I know who walks her dog Zen everyday-- she told me this happened the other day after we got 3" of rain with the STORM coming in at HIGH TIDE.. also spoke to an old guy-- yop even older than moi-- near da' Pier who just walked back from the East End.. said it was worse down that end
