a 'day at sea' after leaving Katakolo Greece early last evening as we set sail in the Ionian Sea westbound into the Med toward the Straits of Messina( narrow body of water between Messina,Sicily and Calabria on the mainland of Italia) then northbound back to Napoli with arrival tomorrow(Sunday) early morning.. another 'schweet' pretty sunny mid 70's day.. we skipped the Mariners luncheon since Pat was in the Slot Tournament Finals that was held at 1pm. she did it.. 1st place .. a nice $500 winning prize ...'halfies' :)
...passing by the southern tip of Italia's mainland at 'the toe'.. lots of haze .. Messina on our port side.. the Italyun Coast Guard has us covered as it made a fly-by with it's Helicopter over our ship while in the Straits of Messina as it always does when we pass thru this way
