Day 2-- Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

our first stop on our cruise on the Westerdam is Half Moon Cay---Holland America's private Island in the central Bahamas-- about 12 miles across the channel from the southern tip of Eleuthera island.. super fantastic quiet island.. been here over 40x in the past.. we got off the ship as soon as it arrived for the short tender ride over to the island.. as I always do walked to the very western tip-- about a 2 mile walk-- as Pat set up our chairs.. snapping away as many pics as I could on this super pretty sunny day 79*... lovin'it ...an e-z 4 mile jaunt giving my Fitbit a workout--well almost.. it's now 2 days at sea heading south to Cartagena, Colombia on our way to the Panama Canal
