erosion on the beach

decided after almost a week of not being around and then cleaning up at the house after Hurricane Matthew to head on over to the beach to check out the erosion and the Sunrise of course.. wow... Hurricane Matthew hit at high tide and it sure shows it.. lots of erosion and wash-out.. just about all of the dunes walkways are closed with all the sand they lost.. will try to get down to 40th street and the west end tomorrow if I can..  after the drive back home and some more cleanup at the house--thankfully we're almost finished with it although it seems to never end-- we headed on down to Myrtle Beach and Costco for some shopping... passing by the Mall adjacent to the Myrtle Beach Airport I spotted these military jets taking off.. unfortunately only had my older camera and shorter zoom lens with me as is always the case when you need that big zoom..
