the day after Arthur

..back to normal after Hurricane Arthur luckily passed us by well offshore as a Cat 1 Hurricane... a few branches  and a quick cleanup in the yard--2 barrels of debris...  we got a few inches of rain--too much rain.. winds were like a bad thunderstorm with gusts only hitting 30mph a few times during the day.. Arthur made landfall last evening in the Outer Banks area of NC as a Cat 2 ..  not nice..   it was back to the beach this morning.. water was uglee-dirty so didn't wet a line in the surf.. plenty of tourons started coming out onto the beach as I was getting ready to leave.. humidity was about 90% whew... turned into a nice day though.. from what I can see Arthur moved out and hit Halifax, Nova Scotia and Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island places we were just at last month on our cruise up that way..

a lone walker before sunrise

nice to get my feet wet again in the ocean

missing??.. just walking her dog

'tourons' invading the beach
