ahhhh.. the Sun shines and a drive to Charleston

with that 'early morning sweet light'..  34º down at the beach at Sunrise.. no wind.. still a lil' brrrrr though...  stopped at the causeway once again.. then on over to the lake.. NO Eagles sighted today...

on a whim we decided to take a drive down to Charleston (SC) for the day ..only a 2+ hour drive... first chose to walk along the  'Rainbow Row' homes and then along the Battery Park area.. a clear blue sky 60º sunny kinda day made for nice pic taking ...after an hour's walk went across the Ashley River bridge to have a late lunch at the Charleston Crab House..  an appetizer of fried calamari..  we each had super jumbo soft shelled crab 'sammiches' along with the complimentary hush puppies.. a nice lunch.. afterwards we did a lil' shopping then it was on for the drive back home.. a nice day.. glad we did it..

for you camera-junkies..all of the Charleston Historic District--Rainbow Row and Battery Park area-- pics taken with Canon 60d w/17-55is lens.. the more I use that lens the better I'm getting to like it...NO PP on any of those pics
