a new cruising adventure

this fall season we decided to do a lil' something different .. we're cruising over to Europe roundtrip from Ft Lauderdale .. it's a 45 day cruise on the Maasdam.. our favorite ship.. with a little bit of everything... first stops are a couple of ports in the Caribbean.. Tortola and St Martin.. then the 7 day transatlantic crossing to the Canary islands.. a stop in Casablanca,Morocco.. with a number of port stops in Spain.. Italy... Portugal... Gibraltar.... including Madeira island on the last leg before the return Transatlantic crossing... should be interesting as it'll be our first time in Europe.. we have our good friends Denise and Tom joining us on this cruise...

we'll be heading out and boarding the ship on October 28th...  and returning on December 12th.. hopefully not gaining the average 'pound a day norm' for cruising... yikes..
