since I'm not big into Mall shopping --I leave that to the 'shopaholic'-- I once again headed out to the back end of the Mall parking area across from the Myrtle Beach Airport runways and snapped a few incoming planes.. tried to get them about the same location just above the treeline...

about a block inland from the beach on the island just after sunrise this morning saw this young lady.. her two lil' guys were hiding in the bushes and wouldn't come out

 a walk on the beach before sunrise at 545am this morning...waded into the surf camera in hand--too many 'tourons' at this part of the beach to surf-fish ... thought the water felt a lot 'kewler' than it was.. Ocean Water Temps just offshore at the Sun2 weather buoy 80*.. air temp 82* with 87% 'Hum-i-did-ity'.. https://goo.gl/e7QpmA soggy air but a pretty morning .. nice beachy breeze.. got cookin' up to 93* this afternoon at the house--and NOT a nice breeze to be had

than yesterday's holiday surprise storms and waterspouts over Little River Inlet..   nice red sky before sunrise...the regulars--dogwalkers were on the beach as were the  tourons that are getting more and more in numbers ..  then again it's summer so have to live with it..

before the sunrise that never was.. looking east some bright sky.. looking south and west it was just uglee...  saw 2 water spouts that dissipated over Little River Inlet on the drive over to the island on 179.. got across the bridge .. a couple of pics then the skies opened up big time  thunder--lightning and loads of rain.. wow .. nasty storm.. lots of clouds off/on thruout the day.. no more rain though..

not much but a cloudy non-sunrise this early morning...  sun of course popped out mid-morning after the forecast was for 80% rain from 3am on thruout the day--boy they missed that big time...

tomorrow is the 4th of July and of course a BBQ cookout.. tonite we deemed it 'I-Tal-yun' nite so Pat--the full blood I-Tal-yun in the house--a/k/a Valentino-- made some homemade Manicotti ( okay okay it's 'Mannagutt' in Brooklyn-Italianese) from scratch.. nothing like fresh homemade rather than from the box.. I would not try making them since I am a 'mutt'-- 1/4 Irish + 3/4 I-Tal-yun .. super good with some Chianti wine of course.. a smidge of garlic bread.. oh yeah did I forget to mention the salad--way too too healthy for me.. hay.. thatsa' nice    ....
