Day 2--Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

ship at the anchorage just off the beach..I took the first tender to the island..walked as per usual to the very West End point..snapping pics along the way.. and yop having been here over 40x before I do have a lot of HMC pics..Pat Howie Phyllis Jan Juul all came over about an hour later when I joined them.. 80* sunny blue skies kinda day

Day 1-- Ft Lauderdale--set sail

we're outta here for 21 days to the Caribbean.. embarked the Rotterdam at 1145am.. at the boo-fay by 1215pm..

on the road at 6am.. a nice day.. Saturday so no rush hour traffic which
was light most of the drive to Ft Pierce except for Jax..  arrived at our hotel-- Holiday Inn Express our usual stopover in Ft Pierce ..

temps dropped like a rock yesterday afternoon.. 32* at the beach this morning .. got there about 20-30 or so minutes before Sunrise.. what a sky... craziness and full of color..

another pretty and colorful morning at the beach with 42* temps and no wind.. an enjoyable visit to the beach..  have to enjoy it as the forecast calls for rain all day tomorrow into Thursday..

in the early morning sunrise hour air traffic heading in the north-south corridor back and forth from Florida where the weather is a lot warmer today than where I am.. it's 32* and winds out of the NNE at 15-20mph on the beach.. friggin' brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !

too many low clouds for any thought of a sunrise early this morning.. headed over to the beach anyway.. stopped by the pond and lake  ..wet a line caught a small LMBass and a Crappie..got home and Mister Squirrel likes feeding on the Suet.. he beat the Raccoons to it

our upcoming Cruise-- Feb 12

we leave on another cruise on Feb 12 on Holland America's Rotterdam heading to the Caribbean for 21 days.. it's not a 'back to back' so we get to stay out there for the full 21 days not having to return mid point in the cruise to Ft Lauderdale.. a nice way to travel.. return home on March 5
