today Friday we stop in our last port- Souda, Chania, Crete .. up to the Lido deck #9 for a colorful stunning Sunrise.. by 930am we took a short bus ride of 3 miles into the downtown ..a walk from the Square over to the Bay area.. nothing has really changed over the many times we have stopped here.. the horse-carriages are still here.. but our favorite Cafe was under renovation so no calamari with our lil' buddy - the 'calamari cat' - who ate half our lunch there last time.. a walk thru the shops along the bay.. back to the main square ..more shops.. on back to the ship with the shuttlebus.. a nice day
as we complete this Part 1 of our 5 part bank to back cruises making our way and sailing back to Piraeus-Athens, Greece.. overall mostly great weather in each port ..we start Part 2 tomorrow and head across and up the Adriatic Sea toward Trieste', Italia.. after dinner in the dining room the traditional Happy Halloween bash in the BB King lounge
