does it get any better than that.. over to the beach before sunrise.. a nice quiet early morning with an almost empty beach..for a change of pace I stayed up top the dunes walkway and snapped my sunrise pics from up high.. overall a quick stop at the beach as I wanted to head on down to the annual Myrtle Beach Car show that we always like to attend on the first day.. better to get there early before the crowds.. easier to snap those pics..we always go every year in this the 36th year of the show--except when we are traveling on our cruises..
after a pretty sunrise on the beach it was time for us to head on down to the 36th Annual Myrtle Beach Car Show where it has been held on 21st Avenue at the site of the old Myrtle Square Mall that was leveled a while back and made into a beautiful flat piece of land that stretches from 21st Ave up to 27th Ave between Rt 17 Kings Highway to Oak Street.. a beautiful day as we arrived at 845am just after the show opened on this first of three days.. nice and uncrowded until about 1030am.. a lot easier snapping those pics with not may peeps around.. plenty of Mustangs.. GTO's.. Corvettes.. Chevy's galore especially the oldies but goodies from the 50's and 60's with some 70's in the mix.. I had my favorites of course.. my old cars like the Pontiac GTO's and Pat had her favorites--Mustangs-- especially the old 60's Mustangs.. what a great day.. well over 3500 cars on display.. food.. drink.. souvenirs.. old car parts.. everything you can imagine at a car show was there.. a fun day...
