after yesterday's unusual snowfall of 3.5" then some melting by mid afternoon--all for naught as the temps dropped like a rock overnite 19* which of course caused a lot more problems-- totally icy conditions ..
checking the PierCam at Sunset Beach showed no one on the beach.. barren..a couple of screengrabs showed it all.. I decided to take a drive over to the local Food Lion supermarket around the corner from us--about a mile away on the other side of our development.. 20 mph was my top speed as icy roads were all over .. even our main Route 17 was iced over ..only saw 2 other cars on the road.. was thinking about heading over to the beach just to check it out.. but smartly changed my mind with the road conditions the way they were.. it was back home.. and on to 'Plan B' as they say--- sit home and relax...last Thursday we were in Cozumel in 81* heat and cookin'.. I need another cruise.. 70 days was way too short--from Pizza in Naples to the Pyramids and Sphinx in Cairo to the HEAT in Cozumel.. just 72 more days and we're outta here..
