a pretty early morning as I drove over to the beach.. sunrise.. 66* clear skies.. decided to take a day trip down to Charleston a 2.5 hour drive down Rt 17.. from the storms over the past couple of weeks Charleston and its historic district sustained flood damage especially in the Battery area and seawall.. major reconstruction was going on as we walked our usual route ..temps up to 85* by late morning.. after a nice walk thru the historic district some shopping of course was in order-- it just had to be
