Happy Easter ...and the sun finally

HAPPY EASTER Sunday..  sat down to a nice Easter Sunday Dinner at 4pm--Italian style of course....gotta keep with those traditions.. Antipasta with Prosciutto..Capicola.. Soppressata.. Italian Hard Salami with wedges of Pecorino Romano cheese.. homemade Stuffed Shells ( pasta shells filled with Riccotta and Mozzarella).. hot and sweet Italian Sausage.. homemade Meatballs.. some nice Pecorino Romano cheese sprinkled on top of the 'red gravy' ( it's gravy if you come from Brooklyn)--okay 'red sauce'..with a nice bottle of Amarone red Italian wine--the best.. for Dessert .. homemade Cannoli's and Junior's New York Cheesecake.. and a homemade Easter Bunny Cookie.. once again.. I stayed out of the kitchen... hats off to Chef Patricia for a super dinner

and from the early morning-----after a couple of days of heavy rain, storms and lots of clouds finally the sun was in view.. I passed on going to the beach with 44* temps and strong winds as I made my way to Veterans Park along the Intracoastal Waterway.. a nice quiet setting.. only saw one other person taking some early morning pics
