a very early morning drive to the beach

a drive over to the beach this early morning well before sunrise-- a little too dark when I got there.. ya' gotta love 'nature' at that time of the morning.. 73*..no wind and the 'no-see-ums' ( small flying nats) were out in force.. by the time sunrise arrived the wind picked up and all was well.. a drive later on in the morning down to Myrtle Beach for some needed shopping at our local Costco with a stop afterwards at Ross and TJMaxx for one of us--I avoid them.. the local 'goose-brigade' put on a show stopping traffic in the parking lot as I snapped a few pics

 no beach this morning for a change.. decided to stop at Veteran's Park on the mainland side of the Sunset Beach Bridge.. I was greeted with the 'Mosquito squadron'.. they were all over.. needless to say I didn't hang around for a long time.. another hot day 87* and sunny

let the Sun shine in..

with the forecast showing clouds and rain on this early Wednesday morning I decided to venture over to the beach anyway after so many cloudy-rainy early mornings recently.. at first it didn't look so good as I crossed over the Sunset Beach Bridge from the mainland to the island ..as I got on to the beach I was pleasantly surprised--a colorful early morning sky greeted me.. so happy.. 78* no wind.. just dog-walkers everywhere--the usual suspects-- as they headed west toward the Little River Inlet Jetties.. another hot day with no rain
