with absolutely no chance of a sunrise I decided to drive over to the island anyway.. forecast was for mostly cloudy skies--they were wrong.. solid heavy pea-soup thick fog was the call of this early morning.. so I changed course and stopped at Veterans Park on the mainland side of the bridge.. and waited.. a few pics what this early morning was like.. turned into a nice sunny day after the fog 'burnt off' ..76*
