clear skies

 as the skies stayed clear for a nice sunrise.. the temps got lower this early morning .. 28*.. at least there was no wind today--not that it mattered too much.. cold is cold.. .. forecast for a rain event tomorrow and Monday--part of that Nor'easter storm that is forming just off our coast and heading north

yet another day of rain and more rain finally coming to an end in mid-afternoon when the sun came out..  a welcomed sight..

clouds the past two mornings ... then the rain started later on this morning.. still raining thru the evening as more rain is forecast for all day tomorrow.. WET is the word..

what a colorful sky before Sunrise.. and a friendly Drone

with a forecast earlier this Sunday morning of cloudy skies I decided to head on over to the beach just the same.. I was pleasantly surprised with the pre-Sunrise sky lit up brightly with colors.. 35* and a slight North wind.. still 'kewl' with hardly any walkers out.. just a few of the usual dog-walkers walking west toward the Little River Inlet Jetties.. no one even walked past me the entire time I was on the beach at 38th street.. it was time for a Drone flight-- so I did.. the 'before.. during and after Sunrise' is in a video I'll post after this.. it's nice when no one is around.. one of the reasons I love to be out on the beach before and at Sunrise this time of year.. a pretty day overall

another pretty early morning on the beach

a nice drive over to the beach at 40th street on the west end on this pretty Saturday early morning before sunrise.. very few peeps out.. just the regular dog-walkers.. saw Bentley and the 'Frisbee Dog'.. 38*.. clear skies.. very little wind.. a nice morning

with clouds in the forecast I headed on over to the beach anyway well before Sunrise.. much color in the sky.. but with a Sunrise that was NOT to be.. disappointing a bit but a pretty colorful sky just the same..

back to my usual--over to the beach at 40th street.. lots of clouds but patience-patience and the sun somehow found its way thru.. 47* but it sure felt a lot 'kewler' than that with the strong 15+mph west wind blowing along the beachfront..
