Day 1-- a nice very early morning in San Diego.. it's cruise day

looking out from our balcony at the Wyndam, our ship, the Amsterdam, is just about to dock right across the street from us at the San Diego Cruise Terminal..

decided to head on over to the cruise terminal from the hotel right across the street.. beautiful sunny day .. a lil' on the kewl side at 64* here in San Diego..

by 1130am we were onboard the Amsterdam for the beginning of our 79 day adventure.. met our good friends onboard.. it's Happy time  :)

left for our flight out of Myrtle Beach airport.. 1 hour+ later we arrived in Atlanta.. then the long wait for our connecting flight to our final destination--San Diego

decided to have a nice lunch in the airport complex-- just way so many choices... finally grabbed a nice burger at the Atlanta Braves Grill .. top notch food and service..

boarded our flight at 5pm .. 4 hours+ later we landed in 70° sunny weather in San Diego

after landing in San Diego we settled in at our hotel right across the street from the cruise terminal...  unfortunately the annual Beer Festival  was ongoing right in downtown San Diego ..doesn't appear to be playing Doo Wops.. a whole lotta wild thumpin' going on.. yikes

always something a bit different in the early morning hours... a nice Sunrise ... left the house in the dark for the drive to the beach.. always go slow along Persimmon Rd about a half mile or so from the house heading into Calabash.. a couple of my 4 legged friends seem to always be out there and love to cross the road in front of me.. and there they were... a sequence of the 2nd of two-- there's always more than one.. grabbed the DSLR and made a few snaps rather quickly.. luckily I had the right settings-- no time to check beforehand.. a short series of why the deer crossed the road

at 5am temps were at 77* with Humidity above that.. what happened to our kewler Fall weather..... ........ and don't forget my friends click on any pic to make them larger
