nice sunrise at 504am on the approach to this port of Montreal..61* at
this early hour...we were off the ship by 830am to meet our good
Montreal friends Arthur and Francine ..a walk thru the old
part of the city.. then it was a short drive to their old neighborhood
where they grew up and a nice lunch at Schwartz's Jewish Deli for their
specialty smoked corned beef sandwich..wow..makes a nice 'sammich' ..sunny
75*... off to the Mont Royal lookout over the city.. then back into town
for a quick beverage before parting ways across from the port..great to
see them once again after having sailed with them many times in the
past back on the ship a 5pm sailaway as we head north back toward Quebec City and pass under the Montreal Bridge with just a few feet of clearanc-- a close one.. mini Eiffel Towers sit atop the bridge's columns
