Day 27-- Kona

Sunrise over Kona.. our last Hawaii port ..tender into town .. nice and sunny ..80* already.. forecast was for rain all day--it's nice when 'Uncle Weatherbee' is WRONG..and yop I did say 'Uncle Weatherbee' for those in the know and the old NBC-TV weather show in the 60's--that's the 1960's ..  a nice walk thru town.. bought some unusual trinkets.. stopped for some Hawaiian Shaved Ice..  on to a local lunch then it was back on to the ship in the mid-afternoon.. a nice pleasant day..
