Day 21-- Livorno Cinque Terre

an early arrival in the port of Livorno under rainy skies which continued on/off all day... our tour to the 5 villages of Cinque Terre started early at 730am on an hour motor coach ride  to Puerto Venetere our first walking stop.. cloudy skies made for poor photo ops but one must adapt and we did..boarding back on to the bus we drove to our next stop Le Spezia where we followed our guide Andrea for the short walk to the train station where we rode up to Monterossa .. great scenery fabulous place but the downpours made for a soggy walk .. a wine tasting at a local eatery followed by lunch of Margarita Pizza and Gnocchi.. more fine red local Chianti wine.. beautiful...  back on to the train then to our bus at the next station for the 90 minute ride back to the ship.. all in all a fine day
