heavy rains blasted thru in the overnite ..dumped a lot of rain along this NC-SC coast.. and with Hurricane Joaquin heading north from the Bahamas as a Cat 4 Hurricane a lot more rain will be on the way... luckily Joaquin is forecasted to be well offshore having moved more to the East from us so no threat of landfall along the US East Coast .. we hope

UPDATE-- torrential downpours/flooding started about 4pm once again.. worst rain/flooding we've had since Hurricane Floyd in 1999..  we are getting hammered
