enroute home

after disembarking the Maasdam in Boston on Saturday morning we drove down to Baltimore for a few days  where Pat had her Eye Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital-Wilmer Eye Institute..  they were nice enuff to schedule the surgery for Monday on our return trip back... top notch people there... she had to see her doctor on Tuesday morning at 8am for a followup then it was 'on the road' again heading back home..   while in Baltimore we ate at Matthew's Pizza one day and Isabella's I-Tal-Yun restaurant as we spent Monday after her surgery walking the Little Italy neighborhood..the doc said 'go take your wife to lunch'...  a nice Gelato was also in order at Vaccaro's pastry shop.. as we drove further south into NC today the temps went up a smidge..into the 90's --- a lil' bit warmer than we had in Nova Scotia two weeks earlier  :)

the entrance greets you with this

a tabletop in Matthews
a streetside menu in Little Italy
James River Bridge I-295 Richmond
near Ft Lee.. spent some time here in 1966
temps are up at I-95 and I-40 NC
