Day 14-- Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

a beautiful sunrise as we approached Half Moon Cay, Bahamas Holland America's private island... the ship anchored just offshore and we tendered onto the island.. we decided to go on the first tender and go fishing in my 'fishing hole' ---caught a couple of jacks and bluerunners.. plenty of other hits too... catch and release of course...nice spot as there is no one else around .. after fishing for almost an hour we packed up and walked down the beach to our regular spot meeting Margaret and Peter down that way...  what a beautiful perfect day.. 82*  sunny skies... a light wind with crystal clear blue water... almost too good to be true..went to the noon B-B-Q for lunch then back to our beach spot and another dip before heading back onto the 2pm tender to the ship..  up to the Navigation Deck-aft by the pool for a sailaway then we did some packing as this was unfortunately our last cruise day..a final dinner and goodbyes in the dining room to the staff .. a bit of time in the casino then off to the Ocean Bar to have a drink with our friends Margaret and Peter as they stayed onboard for a back to back cruise--great seeing our friends from Devon, England once again..one of these days I'll figure out Cricket or at least learn some more of the rules and basics from Margaret..  a fun cruise....we head home tomorrow from Ft Lauderdale..
