a drive to the beach.. a pretty calm morning albeit 26*--again.. at least there was no wind.. not many peeps out before sunrise when I arrived.. on the drive home a stop at the pond and lake to 'wet a line' produced nada.. got in a few snaps with the 'regular suspects' around.. up to 53* and sunny in the afternoon so a pretty day overall..

yesterday--Christmas morning-- clouds were all over with no sunrise to be had ..just a wonderful early morning on the beach today.. for some strange reason I got out there in 26* temps.. just a couple of peeps out there with me taking pics of the sunrise.. the 'kewler' temp sure does keep them away.. more of the same low temps in the high 20's in the forecast for tomorrow early morning.. the sun was out thruout the day.. sure didn't warm things up much-- into the low 40's for the highs... brrrrrrr
just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas ...Christmas Dinner this late afternoon.. just the two of us.. I was asked what I wanted for dinner.. it's Christmas so it was homemade from scratch 'Managot' the old fashion crepe kind-- ( okay okay Manicotti for you non- Brooklynites) with the usual meatballs and hot and sweet Italian sausage ( sozzeech) but first an Antipasta (again I know, I know it's Antipasto) before the main meal.. some nice Amarone wine once again.. lovin' it ... all I did was enjoy eating it.. as always Pat did all the cooking-- I stayed out of the kitchen (I know better).. well done Patricia
with last nite's forecast for heavy rain thruout the nite and thru the morning--they were wrong.. over to the beach this early morning on to the East end for a change to take a chance on a sunrise.. 64* which was hard to believe after a few kewl mornings.. but the wind was up 15-20mph out of the SSE.. I stayed the course and caught the 'almost sunrise'.. a bit different .. the rain held off until mid-afternoon.. temps are supposed to drop tomorrow nite and thru the weekend getting into the high 20's in the overnite Friday into Saturday and then into Sunday morning
with more clouds and rain on the way for Christmas Eve.. it was off to the beach on this 35* early Wednesday morning.. a nice day albeit 'kewl' with winds up to 10mph out of the North.. clouds moved in as the temps got up to 63* in the afternoon..
